Open19 Sep, 2024, 12:00 - 16 Oct, 2024, 12:00
By way of derogation from the right to withdrawal provisions of Article 26, Member States may exempt credit agreements that are required to be concluded through the services of a “notary” under national law. There is no provision in Irish law for credit agreements within the scope of this directive to be concluded by a notary or a lawyer.
Consequently, it is not proposed to exercise this discretion.
